Downtown Lake Oswego’s Terrace Kitchen
Great food in a great Lake Oswego downtown location. Loved the food here–I had their tasty rendition of oyster stew. This Lake Oswego restaurant has classic american food with an indian-type twist. Great happy hour menu from 4:30-6pm Tuesday-Saturday. There’s also live jazz on Friday and Saturday nights. If you’re looking for a great Lake Oswego happy hour or restaurant to try, you should check this place out.
Tonight is their once a month communal table featuring “Little dishes of the Americas”.
It’s located at 485 2nd Street on the upper floor–at 2nd Street and B Avenue in downtown Lake Oswego.

Why I’m going Green….and so are my Lake Oswego listings
As Oregonians, we are constantly aiming toward the highest standards of ”green living.” Portland has been named and re-named as the best of all the green cities in the U.S. And its true. Between our public transportation, recycling programs, and altogether consciousness for the environment–the Portland Metro area is a great and GREEN place to live.
That is why I have attained my certificate to be an Earth Advantage Broker. This is a great program supported through the Energy Trust of Oregon. The program certifies new and remodeled homes to be Earth Advantage in areas of energy efficiency, material usage, air quality, and overall measures the “carbon footprint” of a home.
I’m proud to say that my new listings in Lake Oswego have gone green as well! There are 10 more homes that are either finished or to be completed that will be Earth Advantage “Silver.” The new homes are near the Rivergrove area of Lake Oswego and are named Riversedge View & Riversedge Woods. These homes are being built to a higher building code and are certified green homes. To read up on all the green specifications, go to http://StonebridgeHomesLakeOswego.com
Speaking of building green–there is also an up and coming trend of “passive homes.” Haven’t heard of it? Don’t worry–many haven’t. So far, they are rare on the new home construction scene–only 13 so far in the U.S.–one of which will be built right here in Oregon. A friend of mine is building a passive home near Hood River. Passive homes use around 90 percent less energy than standard built homes. It is an innovative way of building that exemplifies the highest standard of building green.
